– Base membership is £75 – all members must purchase this in order to attend any training or socials.
– The competitive add-on is £15 – this is ONLY compulsory for members who are selected to play in a team competing at University NTS.
You can buy your membership from the EUTRC FIXR page – once you have done this, you can request to join the EUTRC Members 2021/22 Facebook group, where regular updates are posted by committee. You will receive a unique QR code when you purchase your membership which you may be required to show at training sessions or socials.
Purchasing the competitive add-on is only necessary for members who are selected to play competitively at University NTS. Therefore, you only need to purchase the add-on once HP/Dev selections have been made for an upcoming tournament – you will most likely get a reminder of this from our Treasurer if this applies to you!
– The stash offered by the club changes year-by-year, depending on the Stash Sec’s agenda, and is available to purchase on the EUTRC FIXR page. In the 2021/22 season, the following stash has been provided:
– Free stash on purchase of membership: pint glass, boot bag and bottle opener
– Stash available to competitive players: playing vest, shorts
– Stash available to all members: 2x training tops, hoodie, long sleeve, gym shorts, bike shorts, leggings, 2x socks, Oddballs bobble hat, CUBS fleece, CUBS t-shirt
All stash will be available on the EUTRC FIXR page, where you can buy a ticket for the piece of stash you would like. Please make sure you are a member of the EUTRC Members 2021/22 Facebook group, where our Stash Sec will advertise when the stash orders are open, as well as the deadline to order.
– Our training schedule follows the same structure every week, with our Tuesday and Thursday sessions alternating weekly (ie. One week Club trains on Tuesday and HP/Dev trains on Thursday and this switches every week).
– Tuesday – 1pm-3pm – Club and HP/Dev (alternate)
– Wednesday – 7.30am-9am – HP/Dev
– Thursday – 2pm-3.30pm – Club and HP/Dev (alternate)
– Sunday – 2.30pm-4.20pm – Club, 4.20pm-6pm – HP/Dev
The flexibility and expectations with training differ between competitive and non-competitive club members.
Club – you have the most flexibility! If you are simply interested in joining EUTRC to play socially and improve your fitness, you’re more than welcome to pick and choose which sessions you would like to attend. We want our Club players to enjoy playing Touch Rugby with minimal pressure.
HP/Dev – while our coaches are highly understanding that academic commitments can be difficult to balance with training, we do expect that HP/Dev players give their coaches prior warning if they are going to be late or miss a session. Attendance is expected from all players particularly in the weeks leading up to a tournament.
At EUTRC we strongly believe in a player-led culture; if you decide that playing in a team isn’t for you, that’s absolutely fine! Being a member of Club provides you with greater flexibility and a less-pressurised environment to play in. If this sounds like something you’d prefer, simply communicate this to our coaches – their priority is your enjoyment!
All training sessions (Club, Dev and HP) are held at the 3G Rubber Crumb Pitch, Stocker Road, Exeter EX4 4QL
