How the
club works

As the biggest Touch Rugby club in the Northern Hemisphere – with over 230 active members – EUTRC caters for all levels of commitment.

Whether you’ve never heard of touch before, have only ever played socially, or are an international player, we have something for you!

EUTRC offers a range of training sessions throughout the week for both social and competitive members.

The Club section of EUTRC is best suited to members who aspire to play socially and improve their fitness with greater flexibility. The Development (Dev) and High Performance (HP) sections comprise of our four competitive teams who proudly represent the University of Exeter at the University NTS (see University National Touch Series for more information) every year to defend our title of reigning champions.

All our training sessions are held at the 3G Rubber Crumb Pitch at the Sports Park (see Training Sessions), with Club training twice weekly, and Dev and HP training three times per week. At the end of a long week of training and lectures, all members are welcome to our Friday socials organised by our friendly Social Secs!

Our top priority is player welfare and
safety both on and off the pitch.

All of our committee members work hard throughout the year planning events and training with our members’ best interests at heart to ensure that you make life-long friends and unforgettable memories at the University of Exeter and EUTRC.
